This Guitar Hero game is great if you love a challenge but don’t waste your time if you are only getting it because of your love of Van Halen. There are not enough of the great songs from their last couple of albums and there are SEVERAL guest bands doing covers on this game.

As a side note, Eruption is the song to beat but you have to work yourself up to it.

Shame on Activision and VH for thinking of Mother Earth and assuming that I might possibly be able to handle my disc carefully. (Seriously, dude, my GH 5 came in a hard case, and my 2-year-old just ruined that one tonight when I wasn't looking. Get over yourself.) <br/><br/>Seriously - again - this is a good game. The VH songs are solid and from the original (good ol') albums. The medium level is admittedly fairly easy, but I don't mind if it means that a wannabe like me can play along with Eddie Van Halen. It's a better challenge if you move above that, and that's also a good thing. <br/><br/>Is it graphically up to par with some of the earlier GH games? Maybe not. The images of the band are obviously from the recent tour, so you'll get Roth with the short hair and, yes, you'll get Wolfgang on bass. I'd rather see Michael Anthony, but I would have rather seen him on tour, too. Oh, well. And while I tend to be a purist when it comes to music, I can live with the new vocalist on the Foreigner tune. That's not why I got this. Seriously – again – this is a good game. The VH songs are solid and from the original (good ol’) albums. I dont play online with others but enjoy the complexity of the game's resources system and how you have more than just villagers working on collecting stuff. the first game of hte settlers I had tried was this game without hte expansion. I liked it and a few months later found this on amazon.com for a great price I jumped on it and was not disappointed. If you like real time Strategy games and like seeing cities built and watching people working at jobs collecting in gmae resources then this is a sure bet. All in all, still a very fun game, but the quality of the parts could have been a lot better. Great game!!! Shipped almost like the next day! We were trying to decide if we wanted to just buy the regular DJ hero or the renegade edition. I am glad we paid the little extra for the Renegade edition, as it comes with a nice case that doubles as the stand. EVERYONE at my house uses this game standing… and have a blast! The game has great music!

Greatest Christmas Gift Ever. At least that’s what my brother said to all of his friends after I gave this to him Christmas Eve.
