For this particular wedding DJ playlist, all I can say is, let’s get ready to rock!!! Here you go, the best rock songs mostly from the past two decades, the 1980′s and the 1990′s. Rgarding the golden law of playing only three songs from a particular genre, you might think about cutting back a little more with this category. Why? Because many of these rock songs are over 5 minutes, and if you play 3 in a row, it’s about 15 to 20 minutes, which is a lot of time taken out of your wedding DJ playlist. Maybe try sticking with two songs to start, then see how it goes from there. But if everyone is banging their heads, there’s no reason to switch too quickly! For those about to rock, we salute you!

As you can see, some of these rock songs are old, like 1970′s old, but once we get into the 1960′s or so, I shift those songs into a different genre. You might think the Beatles belong in the rock category, but I choose to put them in with the oldies. When building your wedding DJ playlist, I defer to your personal preference. Although I don’t see Twist and Shout mixing with AC/DC.

When it comes time to pick mother son wedding songs, it should first be understood that they are easy enough to comprehend. There are, of course, more contemporary songs from which to choose these days and pretty much for any sort of musical style or theme that the wedding will be framed in. The Mariah Carey hit “Hero” has lately become quite popular in many mother son wedding song instances, as well as “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion. The point is to find a song that is appropriate and meaningful to the mother and son.
